Supporting the Team


There are multiple ways for people to support the team. The main three ways are monetary donations, volunteering as a mentor, and donating tools.

Monetary Donations

Degrees of Sponsorship:

Platinum Sponsors – $5,000+

  • Tournaments: Your company acknowledged during competition Alliance selections nationally televised.
  • Robot: Large Logo of Business.
  • Team T-Shirt: Large Logo of Business
  • Banner: Large Logo (displayed at events and tournaments)
  • Website: ┬áLogo and link on front page of our website and on and on sponsorship page.
  • Appearances: Team brings robot of your picking to a company event.

Gold Sponsors – $1,000-$4,999

  • Robot: Medium Logo of Business.
  • Team T-Shirt: Medium Logo of Business
  • Banner: Medium Logo (displayed at events and tournaments)
  • Website: Logo and link to sponsorship page.

Silver Sponsors – $100-$999

  • Team T-Shirt: Name of Individual/Business in large font.
  • Banner: Small Logo (displayed at events and tournaments)
  • Website: Name of individual/business and link on sponsorship page.

Bronze Sponsors – $25-$99

  • Website: Name of individual/business and link on sponsorship page.


To recognize mentors time they are eligible for either them or their work to be honored as a sponsor at a rate of $25/hr for volunteered time.

Upon Request:

Members of the team will give a presentation to a small or large group of people providing more information and an optional interactive demonstration with a robot.

Mentor Roles Role Description
CAD Teach students on the team to CAD.
Marketing Assist with team marketing and creating a team business plan.
Travel Logistics Organize the team travel to regional events outside of the local area.
Prototyping Assos with the design of the robot and teach to students how to create basic prototypes.
Writing Assist the Marketing, Award Sub-Teams with team award submissions, and grant writing.
Electrical Show students how to wire, organize an electrical board and check the robot for proper wiring.
Finance Help students manage team funds and assist with fundraising.
Programming Work with the students to program the robot for competitions.
Graphic Design Create banners, logos, team handouts, and T-Shirts.
Public Speaking Teach the students how to speak in front of the potential Sponsors and Judges.
Engineering Design Work with the team to pick a strategy, design a robot, and manage robot creation.
Manufacturing Help the students build a robot for competition in March.
Social Media Work with students to manage and grow social media platforms.
Website Teach students how to build and manage a website.
Project Management Work with students to set time and performance goals to meet deadlines, etc.
